King's a good Y2K artist, their drive to build a stylish site was a big influence towards getting me to build my own!
Jay's a Yoshi-loving ROM hacking low-poly 3D modeler! He was also a great help with me getting this site together.
ROM hacks worth checking out:
Smash Remix
What if Smash 64 continued getting updates? With a huge focus on the N64 library, too! Everything looks so official and there's so much new content in places you wouldn't expect it. Absolutely one of the most impressive ROM hacks in existence, the team is mega talented.
Paper Mario TTYD: Hero Mode
Paper Mario super fans came together with a new challenging run through TTYD, complete with new items, new enemies and bosses, and a nice remix of the already great soundtrack. It reminds me of the plans had for the canceled Banjo-Kazooie remake "Banjo X" in its spirit, it's so much more than just "TTYD but hard".
Banjo-Kazooie: The Jiggies of Time
Banjo-Kazooie: Nostalgia 64
Hero of Law
Mother 3 Fan Translation
I hope you've played Mother 3. It gets more relevant with every passing second.
The quality of this fan translation makes it the definitive way to check it out.
Ganbare Goemon: Space Pirate Akogingu
The Ganbare Goemon games are already great, this previously untranslated PSX title is worth giving a spin.
It's got some of that oldschool difficulty the further you go on, I recommend playing on something that has save states.
For the Frog the Bell Tolls
Learn the origins of that weird snake frog Assist Trophy guy from Smash! It's by the Link's Awakening team, and has a lot of the same charm.
LuigiBlood's got lots of documentation on obscure Nintendo software! A good pink website too!
tofokyo.com's site is cool as hell, and a great encouragement for makeing yourself a website!
Anne Hero's site is not only some great aesthetic, but has a good shop of collectibles available too! It's like thrift shopping!
